Athens - Julia Elizabeth Duncan, 68, died February 7, 2008.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Arnold and Doris McElhannon Gabriel and preceded in death by a sister, Annette Wynn.
Services will be Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Rev. Ralph Arnold officiating. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Hubbard, Brison Harbin, Mark McCormack, Wendell Mathews, Angelo Wheeler, Michael Mech, Jeff Hale and Tendall Barnes.
Survivors include brother and sisters, Ralph (Yankee) Arnold, Kay Hale, Merle Arnold and Sybil Chandler; a number of nieces and nephews and best friend and companion, Frankie Johnson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
