Juda Evelyn (McGee) Smaltz

Juda Evelyn McGee Smaltz, 71, wife of R. Bradley Smaltz, died Saturday, September 26, 2015. Born in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frances A. McGee and Julia Elizabeth McCallum McGee and sister to the late Thomas and Theodore McGee. She retired from Duke Reality as an Accounting Specialist and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Athens, GA, and former member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, Cumming, GA. In addition to her husband, survivors include; son: Blair J. Smaltz of Winder; daughters: Julia Carver of Watkinsville, Jeannine Smaltz of Raleigh, NC; siblings: Gerald McGee of Buffalo, NY, Roseann Huschle of New York, NY, Theresa Trantum of Peachtree City, GA and five grandchildren: Jade Smaltz, Rylan Smaltz, Tyler Carver, Davis Carver and Finley Beson. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lord & Stephens West Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
