Juanita Griffiths

Juanita Griffiths, 97, of Crawford, died Thursday, February 2, 2017. Juanita was born to the late William and Odessa Gunter Boggs in Ben Hill GA. She was involved with the WMU at Vesta Baptist Church and would often volunteer time at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home to paint the nails of the residents.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cemlyn Griffiths, and siblings, Louis Boggs, Marvin Boggs, Elmer Boggs, Robert Boggs, J.C. Boggs, and Viola Boggs. She is survived by her children, Larry (Sue) Griffiths and Terry (Ann) Griffiths, siblings, Ella Mae Holden, Jeannette Young, Adel Phillips, and Yvonne Woods, five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Vesta Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Athens Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Quiet Oaks Nursing Home or to the Vesta Baptist Church youth groups.
