Joyce Ann Farr, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 to begin her eternal journey.
Joyce was born on June 2, 1934 in Athens, Georgia to the late Marvin and Beulah Farr. Joyce worked as Manager of the Dairy Queen-Brazier for 40 years (1953 -1993) on both Broad and Oak Streets.
Her family and friends will forever treasure her memory. She is survived by her sister, Margie N. Lavender and brother, James E. Farr; special nephew, David Casper and numerous other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her younger sister, Ruth Bridges and nieces, Dina Lee Farr Sanders and Kimberly Bridges.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
