Joseph Terry Yeatts

Joe Yeatts peacefully passed away Thursday, January 12th after a brief illness. He was brorn in Burkeville, VA, the son of Joseph Yeatts and Nanny Maude Hamlett. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-54 and, with the help of the GI Bill, graduated from the University of Florida. He is survived by his wife Lillian, son Steve, three grandchildren, two great grandchidren, stepchildren, step grandchildren and cousins in VA. A memorial service will be held at the UGA Catholic Center , Lumpkin St., Athens, GA at 2PM on February 18, 2017. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
