Joseph Hyartt Wheless, Jr, 78 of Lexington, GA, passed away October 10, 2016. He was the son of the late Joseph & Lula Wheless Sr.
Funeral services are Thursday October 13, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Community Church with Pastor Brent Lewis and Mr. Chris Wren officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm with the service following. The interment will be in Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Kelvin and Patti Wheless.

Survivors include: Wife, Betsy Wheless; daughters and son, Donna (Stevie)Harris, Becky Wheless, Kelvin (Patti) Wheless and Susan (Tim) Kelley; sisters and brothers, Louise Nation, Willie Lee Nation, Evelyn Carlisle, Betty Furcron, Thomas Wheless, Kay Smith and Ray Wheless; Eight grandchildren and Fourteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Dylan Franklin, Jason Franklin, Justin Franklin, Brandon Miller, Scott Coile and Levi Taylor.
