Lexington, GA - Joseph Jackson Welch, 70, died April 27, 2013.
Born in Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late William and Claude Martin Welch. Mr. Welch was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from Greyhound. He was a faithful member of Living Waters Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Welch and his adopted family, Brad and Jessica Skelton and their son Lucas.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Clark Cemetery, Lexington with Rev. Tim McDonald officiating.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
