Johnny L. "Buddy" Phillips, 82, died February 12, 2011.
A native of Fulton County, GA, he was a son of the late Earnest and Ethel Buice Phillips and was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara, Virginia and Betty; a brother, Earnest Phillips, Jr.; a grandson, Scott Means; a son, Douglas Edward Phillips.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Colbert Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Mae Phillips; three children, Carol (Tom) Patterson, Johnny L. (Pattie) Phillips, Jr. and Bonnie (Jimmy) Dennard; five sisters, Lucille, Mary, Diane, Patricia and Marie; five grandchildren, John "Buddy" Means, Glinda Strickland, Sandra De LaGarza, Jennifer Cook and Kristy Reynolds; fifteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
