Johnny Moon

Johnny Moon 67 of Statham, GA (Recently moved to Elberton, GA.), was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2024. He was born on June 5, 1956 to the late Mr. Robert Moon; also preceded by his grandparents, Dorsey & Julia Massey. He went to Carithers School and Oconee High School. He spent most of his working days in construction, in recent years he worked in the City of Bogart. He also worked recently with Walton County Road & Bridges. Johnny enjoyed working outside, tinkering and fixing cars. He will be greatly missed by many. He was a longtime member of Lighthouse World Outreach Center.
Memorial services are on February 2, 2024, 2:00 PM Friday at Lighthouse World Outreach Center, 609 Gene Bell Rd., Monroe, GA, with Pastor Raymond Hardy and Greg Baldwin officiating. The family will visit at the church prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Survivors include: Wife, Cindy Collins Moon; Mother, Grace Massey Moon Nash; stepdaughter, Charity Ann Baker; twin brother, Ronnie (Wanda) Moon; many nieces, and nephews.
