Johnny R. Harvey Sr

Bogart - Johnny R. Harvey, Sr., 54, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late James Alfred and Mozell
Gunter Harvey. He was a member of Ross Chapel
He is survived by his children: Shane Harvey of Bogart, Johnny Junior Harvey of
Bogart, Joey Harvey of New Jersey; companion: Shirley Buyce of Bogart; sisters:
Jean Self of Farmington, Linda Powell of Bishop; brothers: Calvin Harvey of
Bishop, Edward Harvey of Jefferson, Jimmy Harvey of Jefferson, Thomas Harvey of
Statham and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2PM at Ross Chapel
Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Rowe officiating. Visitation will be held
tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the church
cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Harvey, Edward Harvey, Jr., Jimmy Lee
Harvey, Charles Junior Self, Jeremiah Whatley, Fred Whatley, Wade McNair and
Jackie McNair.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
