John "Kcrazy" Mell Simmons, Jr., 55, died January 16, 2010.
A native of Gastonia, NC, he was a son of Polly Ruth Patterson and John Mell Simmons, Sr., of Colbert, GA. He was employed with McLeroy Plumbing for many years.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until service time and also following the service at the funeral home.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his son, John Mell "Trey" Simmons, III of Kennewick, WA; companion, Suzy Russell of Danielsville; sisters, Gwen Marlowe of Maysville and Tina Simmons of Colbert; brothers, Mike Simmons of Colbert and Grant Simmons of Danielsville; nephew, Andrew Marlow of Fort Campbell, KY; niece, Jackson Nunn of Colbert.
Memorials may be made to the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
