John Scarboro, 71, died Monday, May 5, 2014.
A native of Danielsville, he was the son of the late Amos and Annie Mae Scarboro. He was the owner of Scarboro Wood Product and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Scarboro.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Floyd Scarboro, children: Becky (David) Swain of Danielsville, Jimmy Booth of Danielsville; grandchildren: Melissa Bassett of Danielsville, Jonathan (Leslie) Mitchell of Macon, Chris (Tiesha) Mitchell of Danielsville, Alex Booth of Danielsville, Maranda (Brian) Thomas of Danielsville and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2pm at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Jack Bowen officiating. The family will recive friends two hours prior to the services.
