John William Patton, 79, died August 19, 2012.
A native of Bogart, GA, he was a son of the late Jesse Lee and Jody Shelton Patton. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War. Mr. Patton retired from Westinghouse/ABB after thirty years.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Mildred Patton; son, Johnny (Carol) Patton; brother, Jody (Henrietta) Patton, all of Bogart; grandchildren, Brad (Kyrie) Patton of Havelock, NC and Melissa (Clint) Rowland of Abilene, TX; six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
