John Boyington McGehee Jr

John Boyington McGehee, Jr., 92, died January 13, 2012.
A native of Harris County, GA, he was a son of the late Elizabeth Slaughter and John Boyington McGehee, Sr. and was preceded in death by his brother James McGehee in 1971.
Mr. McGehee retired in 1981 as Operations Manager at West Lumber Company. He lived in the Athens area for the last ten years after moving from Cleveland, GA.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from noon until service time.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Eloise B. McGehee; children, Rosalyn McGehee White, Tina M. Cotter and Jonnise M. Morehead; sister, Grace Willis; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Morehead, Chuck White, Ricky White, Bradley Camp, Wesley Camp and Craig Camp.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
