John Ben Harris, 55, died Sunday, January 19, 2014.
Born in Greensboro, he was the son of Christine Mize Harris of Arnoldsville and the late Benjamin Franklin Harris. John was a welder for B & J Welding in Crawford and had also worked as a carpenter.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his son: Zachary John Lewis of Commerce; sister: Pamela Power of Arnoldsville and two brothers: Rodney Harris and Roy Harris both of Arnoldsville.
Funeral services will be held 2PM, January 23, 2014 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Richard McFall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
