Brooksville, FL - John Wayne Gordon, 63, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Myrtle Lou Gordon. He was an Electrician. He served six years in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star for acts of bravery while serving in Vietnam. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Donald and Harold Glen Gordon preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons: Ronald Glen Gordon of Palm Bay, FL, John David Gordon of Martinez, GA; brother: Ronald Baxter Gordon of Pinellas County, FL, six grandchildren and his dog Troop.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2008 at 2PMat Bluestone Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
