Danielsville - John A. Fitzpatrick, 86, husband of the late Bessie Lee Sorrow Fitzpatrick, died Saturday, June 03, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Madison County he was the son of the late Reuben T. and Ada Burroughs Fitzpatrick. He was of the Baptist Faith. John was a retired self employed building contractor and served his county in the US Navy during WWII.
Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Linda and Harold Thompson of Danielsville, grandchildren; Cindy Thompson, Kevin Thompson and sister, Jessie Lee Ingram of Hapeville.
Funeral services will be held 3PM, Monday, June 5, 2006 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Mark Fite officiating. Burial will be held at Ila Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
