John Lafayette Carey Jr., 63, of Danielsville GA died Monday, June 23, 2014. Born in Royston to the late John Lafayette Carey Sr., and Mary Farmer Carey, he is also preceded in death by his stepmother Norma Carey, grandchildren Stephen Malcom West and Carol Jones. John is survived by his son Johnny S. Carey (Melanie), sisters Helen Huff (Jimmy) and Betty West, brother Alfred Carey, granddaughter Renee Carey, and nieces Autumn Bridges, Tracy Patrick, and Debbie Hawks.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
