John Asbury Bishop

Bogart - John A. Bishop, 20, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center . A native of Oconee County, he was the son of Sheryl Mobley Bishop and Jeffrey Allen Bishop. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Allen Bishop and brother Jacob Allen Bishop. John was a Senior at North Oconee High School and had attended "A Place Called Love" Church, Watkinsville, GA . Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 3PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Greg Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors in addition to his parents include his grandparents, Martha M. Bishop of Athens, Luke and Sue Crowe of Bogart, John Roy and Mozelle Mobley of Monroe, aunts and uncles, Rick and Tracey Owens of Macon, Barry and Nina Mobley of Monroe; three cousins, Taylor Owens, Alina Mobley and Michael Mobley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the funeral home. Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
