Danielsville - Mrs. Joneal Daniel Griffeth of Danielsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Mrs. Griffeth was the widow of the late Joe K. Griffeth and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Daniel of Danielsville, GA. She lived her entire life in Madison County, mostly in the city limits of Danielsville. She attended North Georgia College and worked for thirty years in the family business, Griffeth Brothers Tire Company. In recent years, she enjoyed her "part-time" job with the United States Department of Agriculture.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Griffeth of Colbert, Mrs. Phil C. Griffeth of Colbert, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Jordan of Covington, Mr. Bill Garrison of Easley, SC; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Moon's Grove Baptist Church, where Mrs. Griffeth was a member. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home and may be reached at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Griffeth, 45 Azalea Lane, Colbert, GA.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Bray, Brad Dickens, Jim Garrison, Terry Garrison, Gavin Griffeth, Phillip Griffeth, Eric Morgan, and Tim Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult V Sunday School Class of Moon's Grove Baptist Church.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
