Joe Bud Garrison

Mr. Joe "Bud" Garrison, 71, of Watkinsville died Saturday January 30, 2010.
A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Garrison was a son of the late Jim Edmond and
Nancy Free Garrison. He was a veteran of the United States Army in which he served
during the Korean War. Mr. Garrison was an avid horse and nature lover.
Mr. Garrison was preceded by his parents and his wife, Linda Jo Mathis Garrison
A memorial service will be held Saturday Feb. 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Oconee Chapel
Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 12-2 on
Saturday. A graveside service will be held in Cherokee North Carolina at a later date.
Survivors include daughters, Joanne Mallory, Tracey Lee, Banna Johnson, and Jennifer
Garrison, Sons, Don Garrison, Jimmy Garrison, Chris Lee and Lil Joe Garrison, one sister, Tommie Nell Samples, 20 Grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
