Joe Edward Epps, 87, of Comer, died Thursday, February 11, 2016. A native of Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Dave Newton Epps and Nettie Belle Epps. Survivors include his wife; Minnie Lee Black Epps; sons: Joe A. Epps of Comer, Dexter (Teresa) Epps of Comer; grandchildren: Lacey (Tim) Conwell and Kristi (Dayton) Strickland and one great granddaughter: Faith Conwell. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 1PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Steve Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday, February 14, 2016 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.
