Jo B. Whitehead

Jo B. Whitehead, 81, of Statham, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Paul Brewer and Irma Lou Compton Brewer. Mrs. Whitehead was a longtime member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Whitehead; two children, David C. Whitehead and Annette W. Loggins; son-in-law, Calvin Loggins and her beloved grandson, Justin P. Whitehead, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 pm. Pallbearers are Paul Griffith, Bill Strickland, Donny Seagraves, Norris Anderson, and Todd Hammond. The Mars Hill Baptist Church Spirit Class will also serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church Spirit Class, 2661 Mars Hill Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677 or to a charity of your choice.
Lord and Stephens, West is in charge of arrangements.
