Hull, GA - James "Jimmy" Lewis Waldroup, 54, passed away November 19, 2008.
A native of Clarke County, GA, he was a son of the late Bonnie Jean Harvey and George W. Waldroup and also preceded in death by a twin brother, John Carson Waldroup. He was a master plumber by trade, although his happiest years were spent as a captain of a commercial fishing boat in the Gulf of Mexico.
Memorial services will be Monday, November 24, 2008, at 7:30 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Waldroup was the beloved brother of George H. (Jan) Waldroup of Winterville, Paul (Kasey) Waldroup of Athens, Becky (Jim) Henderson of Colbert and Debbie (Howard) Snyder of Watkinsville. He is also survived by a dear friend, Leslie Elliott of Hull and a number nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
