Jimmy Mell Tucker

Jimmy Mell Tucker, 62, died suddenly, Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Lonnie Edward Tucker and Montine Callaway Tucker. Jimmy retired from CSX Railroad as a lineman and was a farmer. He loved his family and adored his grandbabies. Survivors include his daughters: April Crump and Lacey Crampton of Comer; siblings: Richard Tucker of Carlton, Jeff Tucker of Comer, Delores Heinz of Comer and Susan Driver of Comer; grandchildren: Katlyn Crampton, Karley Crampton, Kruze Crampton, Hunter Crump and Alisia Crump. The family will receive friends, Friday, August 12, 2016 from 1 until 3 at Lord and Stephens East Chapel, with a graveside service following at Collier Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Tucker, Bo Tucker, Wade Tucker, Josh Crump, Lloyd Callaway and Brian Hammond. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
