Hull - James "Jimmy" Garland Linn Jr., 63, husband of Evelyn Vining Linn, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his residence.
A native of Ft. McPherson, Ga., he was the son of the late James Garland and Lucile Merk Linn. He was a maintenance supervisor with Wimberly Daniel Properties. James was a graduate of the University of Georgia, served his country in the US Army during Vietnam, member of the Athens Bee Keepers, VFW Post 2872, and had attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. James was loved by everyone that ever met him.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Jamey Linn of Hull; sister and brother-in-law, Iris Linn Thompson and Tommy Thompson of Mansfield, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
