Jimmy Edward Johnson

Jimmy E. Johnson, 46, of Crawford, died Sunday, March 29, 2015. A native of Athens, he was the son of the late Cecil W. and Jeanette Collins Johnson. Jimmy had worked for Drake Gas for 15 years and was a member of Crawford Pentecostal Church where he served as the organist. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Cheek Johnson; daughters: Kandy (Joshua) Smith of Danielsville, Tori Johnson of Crawford, brother in law, Tim (Angela) Cheek of Douglasville, mother in law, Faye (Ronnie-deceased) Cheek of Crawford; 3 grandchildren: Ethan, Khloe and Lincoln Smith; fur babies: Lucky and Lilly as well as cousins and other extended family members. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:30 at Crawford Pentecostal Church with visitation from 5 to 7 at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crawford Pentecostal Holiness Church. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
