Jimmie Doyle Haefele, 71, died February 8, 2006.
A native and longtime resident of CA, he was the son of the late Leonard R. and Eva Schneringer Haefele.
A retired minister, Mr. Haefele served in child evangelism and director of music. He taught piano and was a talented artist and chef.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2006 at Athens First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Dan Maxey officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; children, Charlyn Tuter, Mark Haefele and John Doyle Haefele; sister, June DeFoer and grandchildren, Russell and Chris O'Brien, Jennifer Tuter, Shelby, Mikayla and Kendra Haefele.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
