Jim Crumbley

Jim Bowen "Jimbo" Crumbley, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died August 20, 2015 in Winterville, Georgia. Born on July 8, 1930, Jim was a dear son of Thelma and Howard Crumbley, natives of Stockbridge, Georgia. He was an artillery Marine, before his extensive career as a dedicated engineer of 40 years at General Electric. He is survived by his adoring wife of 62 years, Callie Ann Crumbley of Hampton; siblings Morris (Velma) Crumbley of Auburn and Rachel Pounds of Butler; 4 children: daughter Diane (David) Wallace of Winterville; sons David (Laura) Crumbley of McDonough, Jeff (Teri) Crumbley of Hampton, Jim (Diane) Crumbley Jr. of Stockbridge; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, East from 2:30pm until 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2015. Immediately following at 4 pm, a celebration of life service will be held for our avid storyteller and tenacious "race car" driver with Reverend Doug Burrell officiating.
