Crawford - Jewell Cooper Price, 84, wife of the late Doug Price, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Rainbow Retirement Home.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Early L. and Martha Herring Cooper. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant son: Henry Douglas Price; brother: David Cooper and sister: Lucile Haring.
Survivors include her nieces; Barbara Goss of Athens, Ga., Ann Lundebo of Crawford, Ga., Joe Smith of Danielsville, Ga., Gaynell Floyd of Arnoldsville, Ga., Jean Swajger of Crawford, Ga., Ellen Wilson of Waleska, Ga., nephew: Preston Hughes of Macon, Ga., many great nieces and nephews and special friend Katherine Smith.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Thomas Epps officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Dawson, Ken Hardeman, Brigham Norman, Russell Norman, Wayne Lundebo and Adam Lundebo. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens, Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
