Colbert - Jessie Lena Davison Coile, age 98, wife of the late Rev. Brantley W. Coile, entered into the presence of her Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Coile was the daughter of the late James Dillard and Dora King Davison. She was a member of Comer Baptist Church and a loving, faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her children; Josephine Coile Taylor of Hull, B. W. Coile, Jr. of Comer, Vicky Coile (Marvin) Smith of Colbert, Doris Coile (Stan) Aldrich of Athens; sisters: Mamie Pledger of Lexington, Patsy Hubbard of Colbert, Shirley Fowler of Hull; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10AM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Larry Davison, nephew, and Rev. Scott Smith, grandson, officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be grateful for memorial gifts in honor of Mrs. Coile be made to SNS Ministries, P.O. Box 32456, Knoxville, TN 37930 or Women To The World, PMB Suit 581, 2351 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605.
