Hull - Jerry Wheless, 79, wife of the late James C. Wheless, died Friday, July 21, 2006 at Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Frances Gray. She was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Dean Wheless of Athens, daughters; Cindy Freeman of Watkinsville, Faye Mosley of Royston, sisters; Dorothy Tedford of Atlanta, Betty Tedford of Fla., brother, Carl Gray, Jr. of Atlanta, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel Sunday, July 23, 2006. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Attica Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
