Jerry Douglas Thomas

Jerry Douglas Thomas, 75, husband of Judy Thomas, died on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  A lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was the son of the late James Douglas Thomas and M. Nell Brewer Thomas. Jerry served in the US Navy and was a member of Antioch Christian Church. As a truck driver for 54 years he had worked for Scales Express and Dowell Express. Survivors in addition to his wife Judy include three children: David (Jill) Perry, Tina Gearing and Karen (Jimmy) Parker; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 3PM at the Thomas Cotton Gin, 3783 Greensboro Highway, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
