Jerry Worth Scoggins

Jerry Worth Scoggins, 77, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Born in Oconee County, GA, he was the son of the late Richard Scoggins and Doris Ivie Scoggins.  Mr. Scoggins retired from Wellington Puritan Mills and had worked at Publix following his retirement. He was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church. Survivors include his children: Gerald Scoggins of Watkinsville, Elizabeth Scoggins of Watkinsville, Billy Scoggins of Bowman and Scott Scoggins of Athens; siblings: Richard Scoggins of Gainesville and Betty Kilpatrick of Watkinsville; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11AM at Huff Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA.
