Jerry Daniel Harrell

Jerry D. Harrell, 43, husband of Carol Roberts Harrell, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at his home.
Born in Tuscaloosa, AL, he was the son of Jerry E. and Nancy Wheelis Harrell. He was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church. Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved by the many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doris and Crawford Lee Wheelis and paternal grandparents, D.W. and Nell Harrell.In addition to his wife, father and mother, Dan is survived by his sons; Justin Harrell of Athens, Ben Harrell and Parker Harrell of the home, brother, Rusty Harrell of Anderson, SC. Funeral services will be held 2PM, April 6, 2006 at Crooked Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Miles officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 6-9 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Oconee Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Ben and Parker Harrell Trust Fund in care of Athens First Bank and Trust, Jefferson Road.
