Jerry Burger

Jerry Wayne Burger, 65, husband of Susan Mullis Burger, died Monday, September 10, 2012.
Born in Farmington, he was the son of the late William Harrell and Frances Vickery Burger. Jerry retired from the EPA as an Air Monitoring Specialist after 44 years and was an avid reader.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters: Mary Burger Fouquet of Hull, Olivia Burger of Hull; brothers: Alton Burger of Atlanta, Richard Burger of Watkinsville, Danny Burger of Lexington and one grandson, Jackson Hunter Fouquet.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Charles Giles officiating. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
