Ila , Georgia - Mr. Jerald "Yardbird" Dwayne Yarbrough, 62, passed away January 18, 2012 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Jackson Deward and Faye Shelnutt Yarbrough and preceded in death by a brother, Michael Yarbrough.
Mr. Yarbrough was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam war. In addition to his military service, he was inducted into the Northeast Georgia Folk Pottery Museum of Sautee Nacoochee.
Survivors include his sons, Jacob and Alex Yarbrough; daughter, Kathleen Murray; step mother, Mildred Yarbrough; cousin, Terry Yarbrough and nephew, Corey Yarbrough.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2012, at Union Christian Church Cemetery.
