Jennie Page Manning, 87, from Colbert, Georgia left her loved ones here to join many friends and loved ones waiting on the other side on Friday, March 31, 2017.
Born in Hiwassee, Tennessee on May 27, 1929 she was the 2nd daughter of Louis and Laura Webb Page. She was one of six siblings: Annie Page Winfree, Walter Page, Sarah Page Baines, Lucy Page Dawson, and Mary Page Gibbs - all of Tennessee.
A beloved mother and grandmother she leaves behind her children: Ronnie and Jan Manning Escoe, Jennifer Lori Manning and her grandchildren: Paul and Erika Escoe Nelson and Stacy Erin Escoe.
Longing for many years to be united with her true love John, her wish came true at 9:40 Friday night. With a little smile and a beautiful glow her even bigger wish came true as her favorite song was being sung to her by her children - "What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face - the One who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand and leads me through his promised land - WHAT A DAY GLORIOUS DAY THAT WILL BE!"
Jen-Jen celebrated her life while she was living. Her family wishes to express love and appreciation to all those who really loved and really cared for her. Soon she will rest in the hills of Tennessee beside her beloved John, after a small family graveside service in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
