Jennie Lord (Lord) Argo

Jennie Lord Argo, 94, passed away April 11, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Arthur J. & Florene Brooks Lord and is also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Dorsey Argo. She was a member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church. Family and friends loved her stories, laughter, coconut cake and remembering birthdays. She was a thoughtful and fun lady who loved those Georgia Bulldog games.

The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Friday, April 14, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM. Services will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Nathan Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be John Fleming, Ray Coile, Jay Fleming, Chip Clarke, Brent McCollar and Bill Loeber.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha (Raymond) Coile, Jean (Johnny) Fleming, Mary Argo, Janet (Teddy) Jacobson and Dorsey Anne (Mike) Stroup; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
The family would like to say thank you to Mulberry Grove Senior Living, who provided spiritual, emotional and physical support to Mrs. Argo.
