Jenelle Gunter Melton

Jenelle G. Melton, 93, died January 14, 2015.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was a daughter of the late Wright and Ruby Wilhite Gunter and the widow of James W. Melton. Mrs. Melton was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lillian Guest, Wilma Massey, Floree Wilkins and a brother, David Gunter. She retired from Thomas Textile and was a member of Sonlight Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from noon until service time.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
