Jemina Bales Smith, 95, died February 22, 2006.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lettie Streetman Bales, widow of Chevalier B. Smith and preceded in death by a son, Emerson Edward Smith. Mrs. Smith attended Whitehall Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Cemetery on Whit Davis Road. Rev. Buford Lockman will officiate.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, James Robert and Patti Smith of Winterville; daughter in law, Mert Smith of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Sandi Smith of Greenville, SC; special niece, Dorothy Bobo of Calhoun Falls, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
