Jeffrey Andrew "Jeff" Harness

Jeffrey Andrew Harness, 44, of Watkinsville, passed away January 2, 2017 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Jeff was born April 6, 1972, at Fort Gordon, Georgia, son of George Walker Harness and Mary Elizabeth Elder Harness. He was a member of the Ashford Memorial Methodist Church, Watkinsville.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his wife, Joyce Brooke McCants Harness, their children, Chandler William Harness, Claire Elizabeth Harness, Sarah Abigail Harness, and an extended family including his stepmother, stepbrothers and sisters, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church.
There will be a memorial service in the sanctuary at 3:00 pm, with a graveside service to follow at Oconee Memorial Park, 2370 Highway 53, Watkinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Ashford Memorial Methodist Church, P.O. Box 344, Watkinsville, GA, 30677.
