Jeffery Dale Fitzpatrick

Jeffery Dale Fitzpatrick, 48, of Athens, GA died Sunday August 17, 2014. A native of Athens, Jeff was born on August 11, 1966.
Jeff was preceded in death by his brother: Timothy Shields; paternal grandparents: Henry and Mattie itzpatrick and maternal grandparents: Bob and Needer Mathis; and his Uncle: Clarence Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by his Children: Kristin Fitzpatrick of Crawford, T.J. Fitzpatrick of Winterville, and Haley Fitzpatrick of Jefferson; his Parents: James E. and Mae Fitzpatrick of Hull; his Siblings: Jim (Carolyn) Fitzpatrick of Watertown, NY, Leslie (Dan) McKenrick of Fredericksburg, VA, Ray (Kathy) Shields of Summerville, SC, Shelby (Peter) Moseley of Cumming, Bo (Angela) Shields, of San Antonio, TX, Susan Shields of Lawrenceville, David (Pam) Shields of Hull, Jamie (Alan) Combs of Colbert, and Jenny (Ted) Jackson of Grayson; his Uncles: Dewey (Linda) Baker of Commerce and Jim (Evelyn) Baker of Nicholson, Roy Lee (Mary Jo) Fitzpatrick of Colbert. Jeff is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews along with many friends and extended family members.
Jeff was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. He had a love for music, NASCAR and living life his way. Above all, he loved his children, his family and his friends. He leaves behind many memories that live on forever. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Bates Williams Cemetery in White Hall, GA. Harley Best Attire is welcome.
