Jeff Tucker

Thomas Jefferson Tucker, 64, of Comer, Ga passed away on January 9, 2024.

Born in Athens, Ga, he was the son of the late Lonnie Edward Tucker and Montine Willie Tucker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Tucker.

Jeff was employed at the University of Georgia for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family above all.  He was happiest when he was giving to his family whether it be a pot of soup, something he had found them or just his advice. Jeff enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife Patty and all his brothers. He also loved car rides with his beloved dogs Belle, Angel, and LB . He was always there for anyone in need of his help or expertise. He was an exceptional man, father, husband, and Papa.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Tucker; two sons: Josh Tucker ( Misty Hammond Tucker)and Wade Tucker (Georgia Dalton Tucker ); seven grandchildren: Sofia, Claire, Jake, Aaron, Mellanie, Timothy, and Thomas; and three siblings: Ricky Tucker, Susan Driver, and Delores Hines.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lord and Stephens Danielsville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time.
