Jeannette Morrison Hudson

Jeanette Morrison Hudson, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005. She was the daughter of the late William Lester Morrison and the late Willie Ree Morgan Morrison. After residing in Thomasville, N.C. for 50 years, she had returned to Comer to be near her family 17 years ago. She was retired from Amazon Textile Mill and a member of Comer Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Bluth Hudson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2005 in the chapel at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville. The Reverend Rodney Owens and Stuart Lang will officiate. Burial will be in the Comer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darrell Daniel, David Daniel, Mike Fitzpatrick, Leon Fitzpatrick, Reuben Fitzpatrick and Johnny Wilbanks. Jeanette is survived by a brother, Buster Morrison of Danielsville; three sisters, Dollie McEntire of Commerce; Betty Morrison and Joyce Daniel, both of Comer; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is at the residence of Billy and Joyce Daniel of Comer, and will receive friends at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday.
