Ms. Jeanette S. Webb, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 following an extended illness.
Born May 5, 1940 in Carlton, GA she was the daughter of the late Brady and Willie Mae Harris Smith. Jeanette retired after 30 years at the University of Georgia.
Survivors include her daughters, Gena W. Whitney and husband Ted, and Lisa Webb and husband Ivo Kerssemakers; grandchildren, Heather Elliott and husband Jonathan, and Mykayla Whitney; great-grandson, Bentley Elliott; sister, Judith Wiggins and husband James; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Lowell Webb; brother, Richard A. Smith; and sister, Catherine O'Kelley.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00PM at Colbert Cemetery, Colbert, GA with Rev. Ervin Goss officiating.
