Jeanette Coveny

Jeanette O. Coveny, 92, of Winterville, GA, died Sunday morning, May 14, 2017. A family graveside service will be held at Ft. Benning, GA, on May 22. Born on Aug. 5, 1924, in Rutherford, AL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rosa L. Ogletree. Survivors include her children: Jo Anne (Tom) Glesser of Pensacola, FL; Jill (Doug) Birch of Winterville, GA; Jenny Coveny of Pensacola, FL; and Robert F. Coveny II of Gig Harbor, WA; grandchildren: Meagan Glesser of New York,NY; Michael (Shaunne) Birch of Winterville, GA; Haley Coveny of Lake Oswego, OR; Clark Coveny of Ft. Meade, MD; and great-granddaughter, Caroline Birch of Winterville, GA. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Coveny and daughter, Judy M. Coveny. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family thanks the caregivers of Gentiva Hospice and of Avery Place, especially Mary Hill-Craft, and private caregivers, Carrie Gibson, Judy McGill and Valinda Wallace.
