JB Holbrooks

JB Holbrooks, 82, died November 14, 2013.
A native of Walhalla, SC, he was a son of the late B. B. and Jeanette Wilson Holbrooks.
Mr. Holbrooks retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty years of service and was a United States Air Force veteran with service during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Cornerstone Church of God and Heritage Fellowship.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Pastor Robert Shepperd officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Peggy Holbrooks; three daughters, Jackie Chaney of Douglas, GA, Gail (Steve) Cauley of Conyers, GA and Melissa (James) Montalvo of Winterville, GA; two brothers, Melvin Holbrooks and Donald Gene Holbrooks; two sisters, Lois Campbell and Shirley Bell; five grandchildren, Jason (Shelly) Parker, Ray (Jamie) Parker, Josh (Heather) Parker, Rian Oliva and David (Mande) Cauley; twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and Sunday from noon until service time.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
