Jason Barry Johnson, 39 and formerly of Watkinsville, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Born in Claxton, GA, Jason was the son of Lloyd Barry Johnson and Deanne Carlton Johnson, both of Watkinsville, brother to Joshua Johnson and Sarah Johnson of Watkinsville and uncle to Marcus and Ashleigh Johnson. After graduating Oconee County High School in 1994, Jason moved out West, traveled and worked various jobs from being an intern at Yellow Stone National Park to most recently a Chef at Cape Kiwana Community Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:30PM at Oconee Memorial Park with Rev. Vic Doss officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 12:30 until 2:00 at Lord & Stephens West Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ESP (Extra Special People), P.O. Box 615, Watkinsville, Ga 30677.
