Jarred S. Scruggs, 26, died Friday, September 26, 2014.
Born in Dahlonega, GA, he was the son of Tony Scruggs and Charmayne Garmon Scruggs. A 2006 graduate of Oconee County High School, Jarred worked for Publix in Athens as a Meat Manager. He enjoyed taking care of his Saltwater Fish Tanks.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, best friend and high school sweatheart, Ashley Alewine Scruggs; brothers and their wives: Brandon and Meagan, Ethan and Crystal Scruggs; maternal grandparents, Charles and Ethel Garmen; paternal grandmother: Marjorie Ann Scruggs.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Shane Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the funeral home.
